About
The Woman Behind the Rooms
Every home I touch is shaped by a lifetime of curiosity — about beauty, culture, craft, and what it means to truly feel at home.
My Story
I've Always Believed a Home Should Tell Your Story
Growing up, I was the kid rearranging furniture and cutting pictures out of magazines. I didn't have a word for what I was doing — I just knew that the way a room felt mattered deeply to me. That instinct never left.
After years of styling my own homes, helping friends transform theirs, and obsessively studying the work of the designers I admired most, I realized this wasn't a hobby. It was a calling. Tammy Jackson Interiors was born from that realization — and from a deep belief that beautiful, intentional design shouldn't be reserved for a select few.
I'm based in Atlanta, Georgia, and I work with clients across the country through virtual styling, e-design, and curated product recommendations. My approach is personal, unhurried, and always rooted in the question: what does this home need to feel like *you*?
Design Philosophy
Beauty With Soul
Intention Over Impulse
The most beautiful rooms aren't filled — they're edited. Every piece I recommend has a reason to be there: a story, a function, a feeling it creates.
Culture as a Design Language
African art, handcrafted textiles, and objects with heritage bring a depth to a space that no mass-produced piece ever can. I believe in designing with history.
Warmth Is Non-Negotiable
A room can be stunning in a photograph and cold in person. I design for the person who lives there — for how the light feels at 7pm, for the comfort of bare feet on a rug.
Timeless Over Trendy
Trends are a conversation, not a destination. I help clients build homes that will feel just as right in fifteen years as they do today — because the bones are right.
Travel & Inspiration
The World Is My Mood Board
I travel as often as I can, and I travel with my eyes wide open. Every trip leaves a mark on how I see and style spaces.
From the rich terracottas and hand-woven textiles of West Africa to the serene minimalism of Scandinavian interiors, from the layered warmth of Moroccan riads to the quiet elegance of Japanese design — I collect impressions the way other people collect souvenirs.
Those impressions find their way into every room I design. A color palette inspired by the light in Accra. A textile choice that echoes a market in Marrakech. A sense of calm borrowed from a ryokan in Kyoto. Travel is how I stay curious, and curiosity is how I stay good at this.
